Winter was long this year and most of us did what the ground hog cartoon in the spectator portrayed.  We hibernated in our homes if we were unfortunate enough not to get away to the south.  Once again, we have to thank neighbours and Frank Scarangella who helped out in keeping furnace pipes cleared and generally looked after those who were shut in.  Spring also brings problems so…. Clear lint from your dryer vent outside!
