We had a great long hot summer. Some of the trees started to turn by end of August.

As the snowbirds plan their trip south, we remind them to make their homes secure, turn off water taps & hoses and ask their neighbours to keep an eye out for anything untoward around their property.

The rest of us who winter here will be planning our Halloween costumes, (I hope).

Thanksgiving dinners and of course Christmas parties and presents.
